Special Assignment
"DogMEN"
On Special Assignment this week we expose the heinous cruel blood sport of organised dog fighting rings across South Africa.
Its a multi-million rand underworld industry where the strongest bloodlines of Pit bull are determind through bloody, vicious and deadly fights organized in dog pits at secret locations around the country. These dog fighting rings also have ties with global syndicates in the multi-million dollar underworld of the so-called "dogmen".
"Dogmen" is produced By Adel van Niekerk and airs Thursday 28 March at 9pm on SABC 3
My View
This is gonna be interesting. A lot of Pit bull owners will be up in arms as well as the dogmen of the country. Its a sad reality that this is done to till this day and age. The main problem is that uneducated people do this for fun, others do this because they do not have jobs and the cost of living is high. So this is the only way they know of how to get quick money and a status. They do not even know the history of the breed or how it became to being. Therefore this notorious and sad action paints a bad picture to the breed and because this has gone viral this brings the breeds name down! I do not agree with what they call "game testing" (who's dog is stronger than who's), but we cannot deny the fact that game testing is done .
None the less, this is something you have to watch as a Pit bull owner, whether you are a responsible owner or not. This kind of publicity is good for awareness and bad for the breed because after this show BSL (Breed Specification Law) will be extremely high and this will put the rest of our dogs in danger. A lot of people already know about the underground world of dog fighting. They do not have to resurface it. I think it time that the rest of the country gets to see what the pit bull is truly about. How this negative energy of fighting the dogs is being changed into positive energy by taking your dog to participate in the competitive shows that are around the country.
This is where we as Pit bull terrier lover, trainers, owners, breeders, behaviorists and veterinary surgeons and shelter owner meet up and discuss matters and show our concern. This is all for the love of the breed.

Hi Warriors
Today we (The Humble Warrior) had our first photo shoot in Gordons Bay. It was amazing! We had 8 warriors that came out to show their beauty. We started off with a walk from the house all the way to a park close to Privates beach. We stopped there for a little breather and them continued to the beach. When we got to Privates beach, the water was nice and the dogs absolutely loved it. We stayed at the beach for a good 20-30 minutes, just taking photos and videos. We then walked along the beach taking photos and enjoying nature. We could see that the warriors where having a great time. We where glad to see that the warriors where well looked after and that they had no physical signs to show that they where being mistreated or under any kind of stress. The warriors had a great bond with their masters and where very obedient. We would like to thank the guys that attended the photo shoot, they made it a success indeed.
